Hipak One set for launch
Leighton Buzzard, UK based Autobox enjoyed record sales in 2007, with over 60 per cent of its production going to export markets in Europe, Asia and USA. Off the back of this success, the company has confirmed that in April, it is set to launch the Hipak One. Incorporating a new stock sheet feeding system, the machine can automatically cut any blank size from stock sheet, eliminating the need to either order cut to size blanks or to manually cut blanks from stock sheet. Job sizes changed in less than 2 minutes and will enable sheet plants to minimise their stock holding and still offer an even quicker turn around for short run orders.
Comments Barry Tabor, Managing Director of Autobox, “Our aim is to enable sheet plants to take full advantage of the growing demand for short run orders without effecting the efficiency of their longer run box making machines. Our design philosophy is to offer machines that can be set-up quickly, can produce a wide range of box styles and offer a realistic return on capital investment.”
